I'd drink with the Cure. Robert Smith, really. See what the hell he's all about. [:p]

I don't drink, so that nixes that part of the plan. Probably Ric Ocasek though, if I had to pick someone.

Hi Hani, there might be a bit of a language barrier. It's not who he HAD drinks with. It's who he would WANT to have a drink with if he could. So Marvy's not the luckiest person in the world...just a stiff like the rest of us. [;)]

Now this is purely anecdotal, but a friend tells me Robert drinks alone. Apparently this friend got back stage spasses during the Blood flowers tour back in 2000. This pass also got him into an after show party with the band, along with some others. the rest of the band was very chatty talking to everyone, having a good ole time. Robert however, had locked him self in the sound booth with a bottle a wine. He was crying/drinking during the entire little affair. Apparently he missed his wife.

After the FAITH tour gig in Sydney, I think it was 1981 the usual after gig venue was Benny's in Pott's Point(Kings X). We, Michael Skinner and myself did have drinks & joints with Robert Smith, he was OK, just a guy out his own country. I can assure you that he isn't that antisocial but we did have the fact that we had met a couple of years earlier at the Comb & Cutter venue in Blacktown where we blew a few joints backstage with him and Simon, if I remember correctly he related that night quite well. We had started a conversation that night with them about when that they had a week or two earlier had been playing pool with freinds in a country club after a sound-check about 600 miles up the coast from Sydney. In those days they were your average new -wave dudes!!!

I would like to share a bottle of Absinthe with Trent Reznor.
And a bottle of whiskey with Matt Johnson.

I'd like to share some high quality tequila with Duran Duran.(well, John Taylor no longer drinks) Or even just Simon.
I was going to say Siouxsie Sioux, but for some reason I think she'd be kind of scary intoxicated, I don't know why.
