Doves

I know this isn't New Wave related, but I saw a topic on cOLDplay and nobody mentioned Doves. Does anybody like them at all? I for one think they are a pretty darn good band. The album Lost Souls from 1999 was one of my favorite albums in the last decade. Oh wells....

Oh yes, love them! I have most of their material on CD and MP3. Haven't come across many fans but, hey they don't get much exposure her in the US. You might want to check out the band Elbow as well.

Elbow? I haven't heard of them but I'll check them out. BTW, which album from Doves is your fave?

*Dissappointed that this isn't a thread about the Christian Music Award show by the same name*

haha j/k I love Doves. I still think Lost Souls is their best but their later albums are decent. I also liked the first Elbow album. Didn't get into Cast of Thousands really. They have a new album out in the next few months.

Time was on my side for so long, 'til it said "so long" to me.

1) Lost Souls 2) Some Cities 3) Last Brodcast
Didn't get into Cast of Thousands
This one took numerous listens before it clicked.

They used to be Sub-Sub, right?
Bernard Sumner worked with them.
