Balamm & The Angel???

Was this the name of the band? I think they had a minor hit that I really enjoyed, but I cannot remember the name of it. Any help?

Balaam & The Angel - "I Love The Things You Do To Me" was a minor hit in '88, but their earlier material (e.g. the album The Greatest Story Ever Told) was better. They had some good songs but were always kind of a third rate Cult.

although i'm not familiar with "The greatest story ever told" the album you speak of "Live free or die"(1987) was none the less enjoyable to me.sure they were totally predictable with formulas and lyrics(not to mention sound and talent)but there were some good songs-"I'll show you something special","Long time loving you",and the title track were my personal favorites.albeit many were happy they faded quicker than tammy faye's mascara crying about her useless husband,beauty Is in the eye of the beholder,ie;jim baker[:0]anywho as i recall it did the job whilst washin' and waxin' my ride.the last i knew of that cd wasn't available unless you could snag an old copy off e-bay.good luck[^]
