I beleive it was around 83-84 there was a song they played on WLIR that was really good..but forget the name and the band..

It had the words to all shook up by presley but it was much fasater and definitive new wave..

Can anyone remember the group and the name of the song..

Great Topic - to this day there are only 2 from the "new wave" era that will make me grab the wife and lead her out to the disco ball. You Spin me Round and Blue Monday - its the way the bass hits on both those records 'specially after some shots. From her end I get dragged whenever Just Like Heaven is played - which I guess I don't mind too much.
