Name That Tune Volume 10

Name That Tune Volume 10[/b]

OK, I'm back from my all-too-brief vacation, so it's time to launch another exciting round of Name That Tune. [;)]

Like the last game, I tried to include a number of less mainstream artists to keep things interesting. These are not necessarily rare or obscure, but may not be well known to everybody. Never fear, there are still some of those "easy ones" in there to boost everyone's scores. And, as always, there are a few really obscure cuts to challenge the resident experts. [;)]

As usual, there are 50 songs clips - for a total of 100 points (1 point for artist, 1 point for title). There are 2 seconds of silence between song clips. Download your response form below and email it to me for tabulation when you're finished (my email address is on the form). Make sure to put your forum screen names on your answers, so I know who you are. I will send the Answer Sheet to everyone who sends me their responses (if you don't hear from me within 24 hours, I probably didn't get your email). Don't post your responses here!

Here's the link for the response form (my email address is on it):

Here's the song sampler link:
NameThatTune10.mp3

The game will end on Friday July 9 at 4PM EDT[/b]

Good Luck! [:)]

Cool deal Fritz! It's great to have you back and hope you had a great vacation. Thanks for another outstanding NTT contest. This time around I think I got a 70 +/- a point or so. Something in this NTT made me think that it would be cool to have a theme NT

Okay, I sent mine too. Maybe 42 points this time. Not very good.
Requests: #13, 16, 17, 18, 23, 25, 26, 29 & 49. Okay, some might not be rare, but these are the ones that are driving me the most nuts- I have to hear the full song.

Randy knocked off #44 & #48, so only #23, #27, #41 & #45 remain as complete stumpers. Nice job Randy! [8D]

Number 45 should be easy, wasn't it a top 40 song? I was too embrassed to send my answers in (approx. 30%)[:(]. But now I will have too.[8)]

I dunno about Top 40, but it certainly got plenty of club play.

Great NTT Fritz and finally, I RULE! Mwa HA HA Haaaaa... (Back to modest mode now...) The two insects tunes are what made me think it'd be kinda fun and extra challenging to do a theme NTT. Thanks again for what has proven to be a consistent challe

As prevoiusly mentioned , Mi Sex's Computer Games/Space Race cd is still available! If you like the tune Space Race I strongly suggest you pick it up while you still can. It is a gem in my collection.
