Cramps... anyone?

Seems like they never get mentioned here. 50's/60's surf + punk = Cramps. Some great songs too: Goo Goo Muck, Shortnin Bread, Let's Get F**ked Up, Route 66, Jackyard Backoff. Born in NYC. Scary names: Lux Interior, Poison Ivy. Scary appearance on Urgh! A Music War. Perfect.

I'm a fan. I saw them at The Ritz around 1989 or 1990.

Their "Stay Sick" album is my absolute favorite.

Heh, remember when they were on Beverly Hills 90210?

Sure-- I liked their "Bad Music for Bad People" album. That and "Songs the Lord Taught Us" are my faves.

I liked 'em back when they were downright scary. Once they got schlocky they kinda dropped off my radar screen ("Eyeballs in my martini", "Bikini

I agree...I'll stick to "Songs..." and "Bad Music..."

To actually include a Hasil Adkins cover AND a Sonics cover was just unheard of...now everyone and their mom covers the sonics...
