Two Depeche Mode club nights in the NYC/NJ area

Got this from Aldo's via email. I think their site is www.aldosdanceclub.com

The legendary Aldo's in Lyndhurst, NJ is holding 2 Depeche Mode nights this week and next. Aldo's still spreading the new wave/alt love after all these years. [8D]

Mare:
How is the crowd at Aldo's Now??
Being 43, I sometimes wonder if I'll be walking into a club where everyone is 20 years younger!! It's been maybe 6 or 7 years since I've been there, & at that time I remember it was still "OK"....

Yes Mare, is it fit for old out of style, balding, graying guys? (I'm speaking for myself Blaster.) From reading your posts and seeing your pic you still look 25 and dress the part.

I have to admit that when I have gotten out to shows there is a large

Ekahob, awww, thanks for saying I still look 25 -- heh, I get that a lot *smiles*

Actually I think the older crowd will do quite well in Aldo's, as the mix is from people in their 20s to 60s (has anyone seen The Captain? This guy was old even back in t

Mare Idol says:

"I'd definitely say Aldo's is still GOOD!"

For the most part and to verify what was stated before...the mix of ages range from 20s to the 40s(the exception beyond being "The Captain" and a few of his cronies)....even out on the dance

Top evening last night. Although I'm no huge fan of Depeche Mode it was great to hear and dance to a handful of their older, more obscure tracks...New Life, Get The Balance Right, A Question Of Time, Fly On The Windscreen.

I'll be at next week's. Couldn't make it last night. Glad to hear it was a good time. And since the DJ only plays a few songs of that featured artist per hour, it's usually good no matter what.
