I wasn't alive when Reagan was president but from what i hear i don't think he was a good president at all and he used his charm to weezle his way out of un-favorable situations.

As an Australian, I can only comment second-hand on Ronald Reagan. But I have to say that I think the World owes him and Mrs Thatcher a great debt for winning the Cold War.
