Agree with the assessment of OMD, although I would encourage a second listen to "Telegraph" and "Radio Waves" before writing off Dazzle Ships.

I'd be grateful for a discography (even partial) of Flash and the Pan from someone "familiar with almost ever

Hey, popman, put me aside together with the OMD lover's bunch. Not only one of the best, but one of the bands whose music where better and more advanced, understanding for it that you can listen to their songs today and they keep sounding contemporary.

Count me in among the OMD appreciators. I recently "rediscovered" these guys and they are ABSOLUTELY among the fathers of synth(pop). this is really, really good stuff. I think they were way ahead of their time. T

Sherbs--only knew one song , cannot remember what it was but I do remember it being decent.

Thanks for the info, schwenko, I'll look into it. We have a couple of HMV stores here locally, I'll check them out first to see if they an import of it. And perhaps the album in question, "Sanctuary" is the one missing from your list before?

oh, and by the way, count me in with the general opinion of OMD. A perfect blend of pop, synth, and experimentation.
