Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

I see... but as Kazaa is peer to peer and not through a moderated/controlled server I can't see any way that they can follow up on a download. Kazza works well , though i have found that it seems companies/bands flood the peer to peer area with "false sta

I'm not exactly sure myself...I've just heard bits and pieces of this in the news. Maybe you should try Soulseek. I've converted from Limewire and I love it. Also -- I haven't noticed any of these "false starts" to which you refer...

"false starts".I have tried to download some Norah Jones....the program says so many meg recieved tho whebn I try to play em....BLANK.
yet go and download say something older and miainstream.no problem.the recoerd companies ARE getting around this!!! [;)

i have no problems on kazaa. i started out on WinMX and i found nearly everything i wanted on there, as well. i think the RIAA crap targets those who distribute ("share"), so if you just download but not share, you're ok. however, that sucks---i hate n
