I liked "Another Silent Day" better, although both of them were preferable to their one chart hit -- which may have been about a subject I could relate to, but no hooks or melody to speak of.

I think I first heard "Send My Heart" in "Demons," of all places. What a weird place for it to show up.

As 'Theodore & Friends' is OOP on CD, and I don't believe this song has ever made it to a compilation, this would be a fine remix to add to an upcomng RetroActive release.

Actually, there was also a UK 12" import mix as well, but not as good as the 'Across The Sea' mix.

"Send My Heart" album version is available on the "Double Shot: New Wave" compilation. OOP, but Amazon has plenty used for under 5 bucks.

Thanks to Ebay, I have everything that this band has ever produced for mass consumption, as they've been a favorite of mine since "Sea of Love" (my lone desert island disc should it ever come down to that).

I'm so glad to see The Adventures mentioned here. Terry Sharpe features in Banarama lore, as well. You can now occasionally catch some of the band in The Dead Handsomes. I always feared that--given the Simon Fuller connection--some of the band's compositions would wind up being used by The Spice Girls or on Idol. But, thankfully, that did not come to pass.

Picture it, Dublin 1998: I'm on my honeymoon and we pass by Whelan's (a pub) where The Adventures are coincidentally playing a one-off reunion show. We checked the place out a few hours before and made plans to come back after our sightseeing. But, by then, the wife had gotten really sick. So, what's a fella to do? Go to the concert, or tend to his brand new wife? Needless to say, there was no concert for me that night.
