New wave-- 84 ish.
Song "No guarantees in the western world"
featured in Miami Vice and appeared in the intro credits to the movie Firstborn.
Either just the song or the album would do nicely.

I actually transferred my LP to CD a few years ago. I remember first discovering these guys when the song "No Guarantees" was included in the soundtrack to some movie, of course I can't remember the movie, but I still have The Nobody's LP
