If your refering to the band with Holly Knight (who has to be unbelivably rich from all the Top 40 songs she wrote for other artists in the '80s). I have their one and only LP 22B3. It pretty much sucks except for the keyboard lines in "Hangin on a Heart Attack"
That's the only song from that LP I have ripped

I must admit to liking the 22B3 lp.....while it's arguably over- commercial in it's delivery - it still has some solid tracks. There were also a few 12 inch singles released by the band with some decent extended / remixed versions. I must even admit to having a signed publicity photo by the band. I feel like I'm on a show called "Confessions of an 80's music junkie". There were even a few videos released from the LP. One for "Hanging On A Heart Attack" and another for "Who Says".....just in case anyone cares. Holly Knight also released one solo CD that I am aware of in 1988 on CBS that was produced by Chris Lord-Alge & Holly. Slick production & radio friendly pop all the way through. OK - I'll even admit there are a few tracks on there that I can't help liking. Now I'll sit back and prepare to be judged!!

Not really. Holly Knight was writing better stuff for other people at the time than she was writing for herself. Makes you wonder why she didn't keep them. And Spider's singles were way better.

I did like the "Hanging on a Heart Attack" video, though. Or at least I did when it came out.

I do love "Hanging on a Heart Attack" (anyone have the 12") & I have the 22B3 CD, but I've never given it much of a chance.
Just a few listens & I wasn't too impressed.

If I recall correctly, Holly Knight also collaborated with Micheal Des Barres on his original smoldering rendition of 'Obsession' (which Des Barres wrote) that pre-dated Animotion's top 40 hit version.
BTW: That original version was featured in that horrid 1983 Chris Atkins flick <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086011/" target="blank">A Night in Heaven</a>

I have a copy of that around here somewhere, too. It was a suitably appropriate pairing since they were both former Dreamland labelmates. That label had an enormous roster, too. Seven (7) artists!

I have the 22B3 CD. I like "Hangin' On A Heart Attack" and "Who Says." Don't really listen to the rest of it, but I'm keeping it anyway! I liked the single from Holly's 1988 album - the song is "Heart Don't Fail Me Now." Paul also went on to sing with Animotion for their 1989 album when the band changed members.
