Rundgren Blows? Go get your head examined zom zom, will you? Todd Rundgren will be the Best thing to ever happen to the Cars. Look what Todd did for bands like Grand Funk Railroad and Meatloaf!

Grand Funk's We're an American Band and Meatloaf's Bat Out Of Hell are 2 of the greatest Albums and Best Selling Albums of all time! Thanks to Todd Rundgren.

Todd Rundgren has more talent than all of the Cars band members put together, bud! Learn something about music before you make dumb posts!

sorry firefall, but TRB was my favorite band back then, before The Clash. Their first album was brilliant. And then Rundgren came along and transformed them into a flaccid, overproduced pop band. He killed their sound on the second album and basically broke the band up. I asked Tom about this once upon a time and he said the friction with Rundgren there was huge between him and Danny Kustow...

Rundgren was brought out by Tom for the encore at a show I was at at the NY Palladium in 79 and the crowd threw stuff at him.

And I really despise what he did with The Tubes too. He produces very slick, very mainstream saleable sounding stuff that generally guts the raw sound of the band.

I can't stand this fucking guy. And him fronting the Cars with Kasim Sultan on bass is a joke.
