You saw Alphaville? I didn't know they still toured.How was the show? Alphaville has so many good tunes but I never hear them on the radio anymore [:(] Do you know if they're still making music [?]

I'm driving to Tunica, Mississippi to see Bonnie Raitt in February. (from St. Louis) George Marinelli (formerly of Bruce Hornsby and The Range) is a member of her band and invited me down to see the show, along with backstage passes. I was unable to attend the show they had here in St. Louis in October because I was out of town. I think it will be worth the 5 hour drive...

Yes! Alphaville actually visited Salt Lake City Utah in 2000, and then again in 2001 for an "unplugged" show. That was the one I saw. The 2000 show was part of a video that they put out which is totally amazing. The DVD is called Little America and is available through www.adifferentdrum.com
Alphaville is still making music, some of it far more incredible than their early stuff. They had a rough go of it with record labels (namely Warner) and became very detached form their american audience. They're still incredible, and here is their website:
