We've got a surprisingly good turnout for this one. Couple of new entries has driven up the average to exactly [b]60.0[/b] - impressive. I hope you believe some of the recent comments that this isn't all that brutal and you come out and play. Do it while you're lounging after turkey or beforehand as a relaxing holiday break from picking, mashing, and saucing cranberries!

It warmed my heart to see the turnout and performance for this NTT. I was a bit dissapointed that a couple of folks who always hold up their punk credentials as a badge of honor didn't play! Oh, who's JasonP?- I don't remember him at all... not even a Jason Priest (I just know that he's also a Filipino after checking the members list).

Hey I got number 14 correct[:D](one of the few that I did, that is).
Since my results were so lackluster on this quiz, and I'm such a dedicated student, I pledge to do my homework and study harder.
First up, I went out and bought the first 3 Damned albums today (Damned, Damned, Damned, Music For Pleasure, and Machine Gun Etiquette), as well as a maxisingle which has Smash It Up Parts 1-4.

Honestly, although I know the importance of the Damned in Punk/Post Punk history, I really didn't know any of their songs until 1986's excellent cover of Love's Alone Again Or. I heard some Captain Sensible played on WLIR (Revolution Now, with The Toys Take Over, a Christmas song!), and I loved Smash It Up by The Offspring (didn't realize it was a cover).

Next up, Bauhaus!

Hey Blir - 3 of your picks were featured in the UK Rock & Roll Hall of Fame show on VH-1 Classics. I just caught the end of it but, during a tribute to John Peel, they played Transmission (video clip), Teenage kicks (video clip) and Even Fallen in Love (live with an all star lineup including the Buzzcocks to close the show). Very cool.
