The Results Are In
It warmed my heart to see the turnout and performance for this NTT. I was a bit dissapointed that a couple of folks who always hold up their punk credentials as a badge of honor didn't play! You know who you are - posers! But great job everyone. Please see the results below and the links to some of the harder songs. Thanks to all who played.
Average = 60.0 - it really wanted to be this number. After hitting it and bouncing around it, it settled right on top of it.
1st Place, Dave, 92 - I'm convinced that we need to send this guy along with Grayson, SomebodySomewhere and a couple of others to the world new wave guessing bee. They would shred!
2nd Place, SomebodySomewhere, 88 - ditto what I just said
3rd Place Tie, JasonP and Rubbeet, 68 - if this is indeed Jason Priest, I'm sensing a Philippino(a) collusion ring...or they just know their shit in the islands
5th Place, FritzB, 66 - from a synthpop maven! "My taste includes both snails and oysters" - Marcus Crassus, Spartacus
HM 1, Cubby, 64 - it could be punk, next wave or polka, he always shows up!
HM 2, Mathman, 62 - lotsa newbs to the board but not newbs to the Wave
