Hi, I'm new to this site and so glad to have found it!
There's an early to mid-80s (I think)pop new wave song with a hook delivered in a deadpan female voice that goes like this:
"I-I-I-I-I I-I-I-I-I-I love you."
Does anyone remember who did it?

On edit: I'm cueing in on the repetitive I's in your query. In the Yello song, the female vocalist is repeating the phrase "I love you" without stuttering on the I.

Wow, plagiarism, you're good. Even given the wrong lyrics, you figured out what song I was trying to think of. Just listened to it, and, boy, it's not at all the way I remembered it. What a bad song! [:D]

Those lyrics are also in "Should Have Known Better" but I have forgotten the artists name....I think it was a guy, though.
