Hey, thanks for Black Stations, White Stations, I was looking for a decent quality file for a long time. I think when they released this they had started calling themselves "M+M"? The video was cool too.

obs- Thanks -I appreciate it. The Our House version I'm thinking of was different. It started out with clips form other Madness songs and was actually broken down into 2 or 3 sections. Does that ring any bells?

zill - you're welcome - that's one of my favorite dance songs from New Wave Night at Backstage in Westport CT!

cee- I have never heard a non-explicit version of that song before! (I was going to say "cleaned up" but the file sounded pretty scratchy :-)... Is that the Single version? I'm kinda looking for the "F-You, F-You" chorus version.

My Aural Stimulator - Big thanks - ***but do you know of a way I can convert the wmv files to mp3's or import them into iTunes? *** They sound GREAT, but I'm not sure how to get them onto a CD (I've got Toast with Jam 6 as well) Any suggestions?

Talking Heads - The Lady Don't Mind extended (One of my favorite latter day Heads songs)
http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0QZR ... EEP2LN4JUO
The Cure - Inbetween Days extended
http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1J3M ... 1W4FH9UWXU
Yello - The Race
http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=26T4 ... C9NUANY6MA

When I found this CD in my collection and did a little research, I was amazed to see what people want for "Something to Believe In" Here's a couple of tracks from that:
APB - Summer Love
http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1T17 ... S2FPYYD5TN
APB - One Day
http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0G84 ... IKVD3M40SM

and a couple more requests...
Cult Hero - I dig you
Comsat Angels - Will You Stay Tonight
Tin Tin - Kiss Me (Short version)

Tad,

Here is where I hit a brick wall. I wish I knew how to convert those files for you but, alas, I am a techno-tard. I play those songs in iTunes, and they seem to work fine. Hopefully, someone waaay more enlightened than I will offer suggestions.

A program like Adobe Audition can easily handle the chore of converting files. You can also use it to edit, and clean up sound files.

Tad, email me your files (one per email), I'll convert them and email them back to you. It takes about 90 seconds per file.

email them to me: kevin AT kevinmason.com and I'll get em back to you quickly.

Madhouse -

Thanks for the tip! Is Adobe Audition a free download service, or does one need to purchase it?

Sadly you've gotta pay for Audition. You can sometimes find it at CompUSA. I got my directly from http://www.adobe.com/products/audition/main.html It's a little pricey ($299) but I've found it invaluable.

It really helps in normalizing (bringing files up to 0 db) audio that has been ripped from vinyl. Let me know if you need anything

Welcome on board Tad Ghostal! You've no idea how really nice the people here. Anyway, anyone has the original version of Vitamin Z-Burning flame? Would love to have it.

No, afraid not. I don't really care for Madness but I happened to have it on that compilation [:)].

Here's a live studio version of IIV Strangers at a radio station. There's some talking on it too as it's the whole radio session (just under 9min). Unfortunately, I didn't record it from cable FM and just over the airwave so there's a bit of radio hiss. It's a great rendition though ...
