Here is a link to a zipped folder containg the entire, excellent Dark Continent album by Wall of Voodoo, from 1981.

I am a huge fan of Stan-era Voodoo (Dark Continent and Call of the West especially)

Dark Continent has been out of print for a few years and now goes for over $100 on eBay (which is why I only have a copy now, and the files have no names...)

Yeah, Call of the West is readily available. Dark Continent is as good as Call of the West too, IMHO, but real hard to find. Glad some of you are digging on it!

I just bought that over on CD Baby (an Italian copy). Everything about it looks and sounds excellent. Not bad for $20.00.

I'm in the process of cleaning up a bunch of WOV stuff (including demo's from the period between Stan leaving and Andy joining.) I have a couple of tracks with Richard Mazda (producer of Call of the West) singing. Was once considered as a replacement for Stan.

Great contribution! I'd like to second (or third) the recommendation of this album. I think this one may just be their best. Though Call of the West is great too. But this one just really has a relentless DARK Wall of Voodoo sound from start to finish.

It's sad how these CD's can just go off of the radar and end up so expensive, with no benefit to the artists. I must have paid all of $11 new for this thing, but that was a long time ago...
