Does anyone like their albums the two that they did back in the 80's? And can we expect a comeback from them in the future or anytime soon? As the saying goes,never say no to anything because it could happen.As overplayed as "She Drives Me Crazy" became I think they had much better songs than that one hit of theirs,like their cover of Elvis Presley's old hit "Suspicious Minds" which they did pretty good I thought.

I also liked "It's Okay It's Alright" also their cover of the old Buzzcocks hit,done totally in a different style altogether "Ever Fallen In Love With Someone" I thought was very good,but still it can't compare with the original song by The Buzzcocks.Also very good were the following songs.

What is Roland Gift doing these days does anybody know? Is he still trying to make it as an actor over in the UK? That is why I heard the band broke up awhile back.His heart wasn't into it for very long as far as making music was concerned.

If I may go back before FYC (sorry --), I liked General Public and thought they were underrated. "All the Rage" was a great album, very catchy, combining elements of funk, ska, reggae, and poppy-Wave. Dave Wakelings' voice was very silky on it. Standout t

I like both FYC and GP but in my opinion neither was as good as the English Beat. "Johnny Come Home" is a great song as is "Tenderness". "Never You Done That" is decent, but "General Public" (the song) and the rest of GP's output never did much for me.

It's not THE BUZZCOCKS it is buzzcocks, no the and i am not to fond of covers, including new wave covers of other artist especially when they cover other new wave songs
