I remember all the hoopla about Liquid Sky, I used to go to punk type parties and they would all sit and watch it, raving how good it was and I hated it, I found it at a garage sale on tape and I played it and Still hate it...

I saw Absolute Beginners in the theatre and I love that movie.. with David Bowie, Ray Davies & Patsy Kensit, I also Love the soundtrack to that movie

Not so much because of the mention of John Candy, but I remember " Planes, Trains and Automobiles", first because of Book of Love's Modigliani, second because I dearly love Steve Martin's work in the 80's and some during the 90's, save for the 3 Amigos.

Now, there's another 80's movie that comes to mind. just an image of the poster of Tom Hanks, I think on a bicyle, and there's this red shoe on the foreground. Title slips me right now.
