Why Do You Love Your Favorite Band(s)?

Why? The music's not predictable generally and a little bit different. Not the same old...same old. But also unique.

This is probably too broad. I can't quite pin it down.

Alphaville. Marv, You thanked me in another post for enlightening you on their website. They are so much more that just Forever Young. The music did it to me early on, the whole synthesizer thing. Their production work is amazing. Later, it bacame the voice, Marian Gold has one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard. You'd need to listen to a lot of their stuff to understand.
Here is an email that Marian sent to the online fanclub group at yahoo this week:

Marv, great topic BTW.

I truly have no idea, tho - it's a feeling of satisfaction, almost like placing the last piece of a puzzle into place that you've been longing to complete for weeks (even though I don't do puzzles). It just "hits the spot".
