That would be awesome! I got into Ultravox a few years ago, and have all of their albums and bought the "Collection" VHS from someone at half.com in fact. I dont know if Midge Ure wants to get back together, but if he ever does a tour himself in the U.S, I will have to see him!! Ultravox is truly a unique group, also very Cars-like in my opinion:)

Unfortunately, it's never going to happen. There is some serious bad blood between the members (mainly Billy Currie and Midge Ure), and Chris Cross is working as a psychotherapist and wants nothing to do with music anymore.

Todd Rundgren and the boys might be available sometime in '06.

I would give anything to hear "Mr. X" played live! Alas, there probably won't ever be a reunion, although Midge was rumored to have tried to contact the other members right before the Live 8 concert this summer. Hmmmmmmmmmm........ remember, Ultravox did play at Live Aid in '85.

Not the same thing, but if you can find the Ultravox "Live At The BBC" disc from the early 90's there's a version of "Mr. X" on that.

Too bad. One of the coolest New Wave bands and Midge's voice is better than ever. Their Monument concert is worth watching if you ever get your hands on it.
