Ok, not exactly NW but if anyone on earth has this, my bet is someone on this board does. Years ago when I was living in SLC during Xmas time the local alternative station (KJQ) would play a number of seasonal tunes (i.e. "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch, etc.) One of the songs they would play was a parody of "The 12 Days of Christmas" that was actually fairly funny. Unfortunately I don't remember the title, but distinctly remember the "5th day" in the song was Archie Bunker saying "Hangovers...". Not a lot to go on I know, but the masters here I'm sure are up to the task. Anyone who can post this, or know the title and where I could download it --I would forever be in your debt....[:)]

You may be thinking of the song "The Twelve Pains Of Christmas" by Bob Rivers.
Here is the third verse:

"The third thing at Christmas that's such a pain to me
Hangovers
Rigging up the lights
And finding a Christmas tree "

I'm still in UT and I miss the OLD KJQ. The station is still there...but they're playing the likes of Korn now.

What a small world! I'm also from the SLC area, and I miss KJQ like you wouldn't believe.

But what I miss more is the old KCGL. Do you remember that station? There will never be another one like it.

You'll find what I believe is a fairly strong Utah contingant here at the NWO. Yes I was in SLC just as KCGL went off and KJO came on, but I do remember it. of course those were the days of dancing at the Palladium and seeing Suicidal Tendencies at the Speedway ...Good Times (to coin a phrase)[:D]

Holy Crap... Wow, the Palladium. Talk about a blast from the past. Personally only went there a few times.

There was yet another club, pre Palladium days down around 53rd South, which I cannot recall the name of. That was the first club I had ever gone to. Hell, I was what? 15 at the time?

There was another club in Ogden that we frequented the most until it went total shitkicker (again, my memory fails me)

Yeah, KJQ was a nice "fill in" but it paled in comparison to KCGL.

But does anyone recall the predecessor to KCGL? Well, I don't recall the call letters myself, but they were on 107.5 (or 107.9) and broadcast from Provo.
