Cassettes to CD's

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

I know the quality won't be as good, but I have thousands of the friggin' things, and I'd hate to replace every last one of them, especially since only a small percentage of songs on each cassette are keepers, and many of the cassettes are remix cassettes that you can't find on cd.

Yeps, it's a tough decision! May be U could upgrade your favorite albums to CD and convert the rest to CDR's. Anyway, we used to be satisfied before with cassettes![:D]

No way. I hated commercial cassettes. Vinyl all the way.
