This Canadian new wave band has amped up its' website recently, with free mp3s!
When I saw them live in Vancouver Aug 2004 they blew Spoons out of the water, and I'm a huge Spoons fan!

I,m glad you liked the show Schwenko and I,m glad they are still
around. They played our city back in around 86 and for some reason I
missed the show.I still have their ep I bought in 84.Have you ever listend to Chalk Circle? They are another Canadaian band from the mid
80,s who came and went all to soon, but put out I think two fairly
good releases.

I saw IIV in Toronto (The Opera House) in Oct 2003. That's not too far from Kingston is it? I wouldn't be surprised if they popped up again, probably to promote their third compilation album due to be released next year.
Never heard of Chalk Circle I'm afraid. I'll keep my eyes/ears peeled.

Funny. I'm a bigger IIV fan than the Spoons and I thought Spoons were the better of the two that night. Mind you, Spoons music is more up and audience friendly. Anyhow, it was a great show with two good bands.

Kingston is about 150 miles east from Toronto. We are in the midst of
an arena battle to replace our 50 year old shithole hockey rink that nobody wants to play in(including hometown heroes Tragicly Hip).So
hopefuly one day acts like IIV will play here once again.
