Some Challenging Requests...

NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

I just sent you the Korgis "Silent Running" and "Dirty Postcards." Check your e-mail. It came via dropload.com (same thing as yousendit)

Let me know if you got it because I got a questionable message from dropload about the file.

I also have the Landscape and Cafe Jacques songs but I need to copy them from vinyl. I won't be able to get to that today.

Just found this:

http://www.onestarpress.com/v2/about_osp.php
"onestar press's team

Christophe Boutin
The Founder of onestar Press, born in Paris in 1957. After two years of study at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he founded the punk band Edith Nylon in 1977 and recorded three records through 1983. His career as an artist then began and since this time he has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and institutions such as Yvon Lambert-Paris 1987, Giorgio Persano-Turin 1992, Musee Bonnat-Bayonne 1998, and Buchsenhausen-Innsbruck 2001. Since 1992, he dedicates himself to directing and producing short films that feature a "ménagerie" of actors, the contortionist, the dwarf, the old man, the boxers, the homeless man, a Christ, a gorilla..."

Perhaps there is a chance someone could contact Mr. Boutin and see if it's possible to add Edith Nylon to itunes or at least get some high quality mp3's of some of their music.

Sorry for the delay.

Check your e-mail for The Korgis - "Silent Running" & "Dirty Postcards"
Landscape - "Computer Person"
Cafe Jacques - "Dark Eyed Johnny"

They were all sent seperately from my Hotmail account to yours. So you might want to check your Junk Filter just in case Hotmail thinks I'm sending you SPAM (4 back to back e-mails from the same address).
