Any Gazebo Fans Here?

I totally love this act but never see too many people talk about them. Their music sounds so elegant and melodic. Their first album is a masterpiece and extended versions are hypnotic. I just listened to the following songs while driving to work today and had to post something up.

Hi Sean, I actually just bought two of their albums on CD...Telephone Mama and I Like Chopin. Not bad stuff, a little Euro Popish, but not to the point of being excessive. I Like Chopin is a good album.

I have always liked the tunes "Lunatic" ans "I Like Chopin" but I dont really know too much else by them.

I've got random assorted Gazebo stuff, I should get a few albums, I love Telephone Mama.

I love them, have since about 83, although for the longest time I was only aware of the album I like Chopin and the single Telephone Mama. The album Telephone Mama is great, yeah they (or more importantly He) are very Italo disco (the godfather of that movement) but that is what is so great, this is classic Europop.

The synth work was and is some of the best from the 80's.

Like everyone else, i'm only fond of 'I like Chopin', something smooth and nice to listen to.

The first two Gazebo albums are spectacular. The first one has all of the songs that will endure the test of time. The second has all of the New Wavey synthy tunes. The third album was pretty good too but maybe not up to the caliber of the first two but included some amazing songs.

I have 2 of his first albums. Beautifully crafted music (I like chopin, Love in your eyes, telephone mama, London-Paris, For Anita, No Speed Control and many others).....great stuff
