Welcome to the new forum!

An exchange with Egg-Roger made me think of this one. Can you think of bands named after instruments? I just got two:

The Bongos
The Tubular Bells


(of course another interesting question would be female body parts named after instruments...like maracas or congas [:I] )

In a similar vein/genre - Bomb the Bass and Horns of Plenty. Plus new wavers:

Electric Guitars (anyone remember "Language Problems"?)
Echo & the Bunnymen (kinda, right?, "Echo"??)

The Hooters took their name from a nickname they gave their Melodica, which was featured in many of their early songs. I'm sure you all thought they were named for something else... [:p]
