New Wave or not? She seems to get dumped into the singer/songwriter category these days or "progressive rock" (stemming from her work with Peter Gabriel and her being a protogee of David Gilmour's, I guess).

I love Kate Bush's music. Her videos and loive performance I can't stomache. I just got all of her videos from usenet and I forgot what a pretentious little hippy she was/is. That aside, I still love listening to her records.

I also have a wee love/hate thing going with Kate. I also really enjoy her albums but get a bit squeamish and mildly embarrassed (for her or myself, I'm still not sure) watching her older videos. Still, I would call myself a fan.
