Any Fake Fans Here?

Postby Sean » Tue Feb 15, 2005 7:34 am

I totally love these guys. Probably one of the most underrated and overlooked New Wave bands of the 80's. They had the look as well as the sound. Too bad we will probably never see the album "New Art" be official released but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My favourite songs include:

Donna Rouge
Right
Frogs In Spain
Brick
In Love

Hi Ben,

I don't have the internet at home and I can't send any files from my work. I will install cable internet at home pretty soon and will send you some samples once I'm connected. Fake is one of the coolest bands ever. Hang in there.

Crazy and great Swedish synth-pop and italo music. One of those obsure gems from the 80's. I wish someday someone will release their collection on CD. "Brick" "Right" and "Frogs" cooooool stuff, what were they talking about, lol who cares [:D]

Great sites on them:

You almost had me fess up that I might be a "fake fan" of new wave but then I realized that your topic has nothing to do with that. I'm safe.

I have the 12" of "Brick" on the ZYX label, I didn't know they did anything else, let alone anyone knew who they were, very cool. I'd like to hear what else they've done.
