Icehouse Rare Mixes + Tracks

Postby 1980-F » Mon Jan 09, 2006 1:55 pm

Are there any ICEHOUSE experts here?

After a look at the discography on the official website www.icehouse-iva.com I found out, that there are some vinyl-only tracks, that still can't be found among all the bonus tracks of the remastered albums. My special requests are:

- all mixes of "Cross the Border" (except Steal Love, which I found on P2P)
- the Manic mix, Mad mix an 6a.m. mix of "Crazy"
- "No Promises" (Dub & instrumental)
- "Hey Little Girl" (Dub)
- "Mr. Big" (Extended)
- "Cold Turkey (live)" - B-Side of "Icehouse" (the song) single

I'd also be very interested in the "Razorback" Soundtrack written by Iva Davies in 1984.

Thanks in advance and don't hesitate to ask me for any (rare) tracks not mentioned here...

hallo,

hello,
I know Icehouse / Iva Davies very good, because I just had a collection of ca. 280 items. most of their 12" versions weren't so good. I just convert my music collection from CD and MiniDisc system to mp3 format and many songs not transfered. but I will check which tracks are available.

lol...sorry for the multiple responses. I thought I'd share one more song.

I LOVE this song. Was actually released under Iva Davies' name...not Icehouse.

spacecircus:

Thanks a lot. [:)]
Though I was only looking for old "original" mixes, the two "techno" mixes are quite good.

thomas:

Ich hatte Dich gestern hier entdeckt und mir sowieso überlegt, ob ich mich mal bei Dir melde. Es sind nicht so viele "Germans" hier. [;)]
Bin gespannt, was Du ausbuddelst.

Yeps, I have those two, Ice House is a good band but I'm not so fond of their remixes. This is what I have which I feel is enough.

I have the instrumental version of No Promises, but the quality is only OK; it's a 128kbps MP3 made from a circa 1987 Fuji metal tape that was a personal mix of instrumental songs from the original US 12", which is still sitting in my closet. One day I hooked up my tape deck to an old laptop and ripped it...

Ergo, it's not the greatest rip. But if you want it, it's yours.
