Robert Quine has died.
He was a founding member of Richard Hell and the Voioids (Blank Generation), and played with Material, Lou Reed, Tom Waits and more.

because i'm realy love the style of this legendary 77 Punk and rock guitarist

I know recently is toured with sonny vincent the founder of the Testors a great pionier of new york power pop Punk sound of the 70's

Wow. That is certainly an impressive body of work! Absolutely loved the Voidoids. Loved his work on Faithfull's "Strange Weather" and Lunch's "Queen of Siam". The first Voidoids album is a masterpiece (did that even need to be stated?)

Very saddening news indeed. Please include amongst his body of works the Velvet Underground bootleg "The Quine Tapes", recorded by him as a young'un in the late 60s.

Whoops...I see that the Quine Tapes are included in the extensive discog. I typed too impulsively...still, did you know that Robert Quine taped almost all of his telephone calls, for whatever reasons....perhaps they'll emerge as the Quine Tapes volume 2?
