New Wave Outpost Party

I'm not sure if it's been done, but would there be any interest in an a NWO Party (for lack of a better word)? I work in Vegas and would love to coordinate a gathering at someplace like the Mandalay Bay or House of Blues. We could do it plenty of advance notice for those of you with tight schedules. There would be group rates for the rooms. The music playlist could be determined on here (top 100 songs?) Great Music, Booze, and whatever follows???

Memorial Day Weekend!!! I'm in LA for a few days on either side of that. Airfare from pretty much anywhere in the US right now is like $199. [:p][:p][:p]

i think i could be up for a concept like this. if we do it over a holiday weekend it might be real cool. jet out to vegas, have a grand time and jet on back. now, what kind of show scene do we have in vegas that we would all like? or we could all gamble and then head to the nudie bar.

After our festivities, there would be plenty to do in the "City of Sin". Tons of shows and enough "nudie bars" to keep you smiling on your flight home. (enough nudie shows for the ladies too)

I'd be up for something like this as I am just a hop, a skip, and a jump away from Vegas.

Great idea!!!

Maybe we could arrange it around a particular NW show? Or hire a NW cover band that lets US, the NWO, create the set list?

I don't care what city it is in (to a point), as long as the airfare is cheap and there's a bar. =] And, attendance is mandatory.

There are a few great New wave Cover bands in Vegas. If I were able to get the set list with plenty of notice, I could make it happen!!!

Let's have a DJ. I'd much rather listen to the oldies as they were meant to be heard, rather than someone else "interpreting" someone elses song. Ick.

Let's figure out where and when! I can do anything--I mean any day, as long as it's not on a school night.

Ok, there has to be a female NWO-er living around here somewhere. I live in Vegas, and I'd love to do this, but I need a girl or two to hang out with!

You can always bring a friend or two. That way, you'll at least know another person there.

Btw, I could potentially go to one of these things too, but not until around mid to late March...

Hey, My Aural Stimulator...

How about a cover band with a DJ for the breaks and afterward??? Ooh!! The DJ plays our deliciously obscure requests...

Look me up at the show, and I'll buy you a beverage. We're pals.
