In the interest of sharing the wealth, I've decided to make a series of posts of my fave underground dance tracks, named after the dance club of my dreams, which will probably never exist. It's so nice to be able to share these songs with people who really love them. Enjoy!!!

C.C.C.P. - Made In Russia (12" Version) (Ripped from personal vinyl, this is my fave by them...why this never gets played in clubs I'll never know...all I ever hear is the Cameron Paul Remix of American Soviets...a great song, but geez, you'd think CCCP never recorded anything else)

Voyou - Radio Bostich (Ripped from personal vinyl, but I'm not sure which mix this is...neglected to make a note of it, and the record is ferreted away in a box somewhere. Perhaps one of you here can enlighten me. This song beats the more well-known Houseman all to hell IMO)

Fantastique - Mama Told Me (12" Version) (It took me years before I finally tracked down the name and performer of this extremely catchy track. Ripped from an excellent quality audiocassette recording of the vinyl that came from god knows where. Sounds pretty good considering. If anyone has a direct vinyl rip that sounds better, I'd love to get my grubby mitts on a copy)

Boney M. - Young, Free & Single (12" Version) (Boney M.'s last hurrah, this is the hard-to-find extended version, which I snagged from a used record shop for a buck ninety-nine. )

M & H Band - Pop Corn (Extended) (Far and away the best version of this early '70s hit from Hot Butter. The band is actually a guy by the name of Mark Haliday, hence the M and H. Couldn't find any details on him. Compressed from a wav file that had been expanded from mp3. The original mp3 is long gone, so I had to reencode it. Hope it still sounds good enough. If anyone has a direct vinyl rip of this, I'd love to see it posted here)

Hardly new info but I'll say it anyway: CTN became `Hyper! Hyper´ Scooter in the 90s when they felt that Techno was a better way to pay their bills...
A shame that is...but I guess they were right as long as the money side is concerned.
