And don't flatter yourself with that "nemesis" jazz. You're just a diversion to me, like watching some mindless cartoon. Dance, monkey, dance.

As far as my prior statement of not holding back, I changed my mind. Some people aren't even worth the effort to say "fuck off" to.[/quote]

I guess this means cuddling is off of the table?

Hey, I didn't say that. I'm always open to cuddling.

Whoah! I've read plenty of the Jimbo/fill-in-the-blank debates and he never cut and ran. Jimbo would just get hung up on semantics ("You still have'nt defined what you mean by...") and his opposition would eventually freak out.[8D]

9 times out of ten the debates would disintegrate into a battle of the links..

Good point ghosty...those links gave me headaches, and in the end did nothing to bolster either side. Both did make compelling arguments however.

No worries about me becoming "Jimbo-Lite". Ol' Jimbo actually believed that, with the right amount of education, the loonies would come around to reasonable thinking...sooner or later.

I don't share that belief. If you're past the age of 30, and still hold on to marxist ideals that only a semi-retarded teenager would embrace, then you're a lost cause, and not worth my time to "smarten up". However, I do find jokers like BS amusing. He has a history of labeling folks when they show him out to be the pathetic tool that he is. For some twisted reason, that tickles my funny bone. Maybe his missus will do us a favor and take away his internet priviledges before he dumbs down this board too much. Until then...dance, monkey, dance.

I lived in Central America during the 80s, so, to me, the worst president is Ronald Reagan.

I'm still waiting for the post where you show that I'm a tool, son. You're proving my point that you're just another internet tough guy, all talk. Your turn to dance kid.

I have no need to show you as a tool. You do an admirable job all by yourself. Keep dancing, beatoff. Shake it, baby...oh, yeah.

Sorry, but on more than one occasion, when Jimbo couldn't frame the argument the way he wanted, he would stop arguing his point, call me "un-American" or a "Christian-hater" and try to make the argument about my character. I'd be happy to do some digging if you want the links.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the majority of my arguments with Jimbo were based on his "holier-than-thou", or more appropriately, "more American than thou" moments of condescension where those of us that weren't neo-cons were somehow "un-American". I would call him on it, he'd start throwing around links from his neo-con sites, I wouldn't back down. Jimbo and Hutter thrive on the Limbaugh/O'Reilly type of argument where rather than acknowledge factual errors on their part, they choose to take the road of character framing when their errors are pointed out. So far, Hutter has labeled me, Stella, Swampy, 2Nu, MikeP, and a couple of folks I can't recall as "liberals" or "leftists", a group he has framed as welcoming the destruction of the world. Hutter's decided I'm a Marxist, remarkably similar to how Jimbo would label me. Rather than basing his argument on fact, an argument he knows he would lose, he goes the Springer route. He's doing the internet equivalent of "talk to the hand" or sticking his fingers in his ears and talking loud to drown me out. My three-year old does this occasionally, so I can deal. I'm giving him a time out, then I'll march down and spank his insolent ass so the lesson really sinks in.

Hutter/Beatschool,
Your "debate" has just become another "last man standing" routine at this point. Neither of you have a chance of swaying the other's opinion so what's the point in all this? Hutter's not going to say "Yeah...I see your point. I've been wrong all along!" and Beatschool's not going to say "Eureka! I will see things from your perspective now!"

...unless you guys are enjoying this in which case do carry on.[8D]
