This guy wasn't raised without a father. I haven't read yet that he was avidly into violent video games. He certainly doesn't seem like a big inner city rap fan. And if he's in the majority of Korean immigrants, God may actually be a pretty big part of his equation. Oneno is taking a pretty fucked-up situation and belittling it by trying to put his own spin and agenda on it. It's pretty disrepectful. I'd be offended if I was religious as well as not.

It seemed to me more like he was making a blanket statement about how society has changed and correlated it to the way crime - gun violence - has changed as well. This sort of talk isn't new. I didn't read it as an accusation. It didn't seem to me like he was talking about this shooter in particular.

It's not really up to faux-liberal, narrow-minded and self-ignorant white people to say if something like this is knee-jerk or not. After his ethnicity was revealed, I recall that being consistently used as THE lead identifier of the psycho, rather than say the fact that he was, um, psycho. Oh, and by the by: another "lead identifier" of this kid was the fact that he grew up in a "townhouse outside of Wa. DC". Wtf does his having grown up in a townhouse have to do with anything?!

I only tossed the race card in there because of the way oneno wrote in his nonsense. I think this society is going bad due to the frequency of positive gun-as-brain situations. And the kid was on all sorts of meds and his teachers had gone to the dean multiple times with their concerns. At least he wasn't looking at Nambla dude...

Anyhow the kids' English teacher was on the news (actually her accent sounded English to me) and she said he was very intelligent but he wa awkward with ansering questions, didn't talk much, he also had a crush on a girl and that was the first one he killed. Sound slike he didn't have many friends and was abit of a loner. His teacher said he was lonely. Soudns like he spent too much ti,e aloen to me, it is quite sad whichever way you look at it.His teahcer said he will be missed alogn with the students he killed.At the colelge they knew he had problems and were concerned about him. Just thought I'd add that update of what I've heard.It is veyr sad that he went out and did what he did and didn't get the help he obviosuly needed...
