when youre looking for a parking space, do you park wherever or do you wait?

What about: I park farther away and walk for the exercise?

Who parks in the fire lane unless they are waiting in their vehicle for someone they know to come out of the store cause they will be driving away in a minute or so?

I prefer the angled parking vs the straight in parking, it's much easier to park and exit.

I park far away on purpose, for the exercise.

This pisses me off to no end...ticket them! I don't care if it's 2 seconds. It's a fire lane not a "I'm going to wait here because I'm special" lane.

What about those that take up to two spots so no one gets too close to them? [xx(]

I put a giant key scratch down the entire side of their Escalade and knife their 20" tires.

LOL!!! I've had a Hummer as a loaner for the past few days while my vehicle is being repaired, and I've found that they are hard to park between the lines...a leeettle wide for most spots.

I also had one holier than thou jerk ask me if I really needed "such a big and useless car". I told him: 1. It's a loaner, 2. It's my daughter's favorite car, so I thought it would be a hoot for her to ride in one for a couple of days, and 3. Go fuck yourself.

I think he was more upset about items 1 and 2, as such a nosy asshole would surely have heard #3 many times.

How about idiots who drive up or down the wrong way in a lane. The diagonal lines dictate which way to park not because they are pleasing to the eye.

I have pulled into a lane (the right way of course) only to find some fuckwad coming up the other way (9 times out of 10 it was a female, sorry to all the females on this board but it's the truth). I refused to back up and we had a stalemate until she got off of her cellphone (another pet peeve of mine). She finally backed up cursing me all the while. I told her to get off the phone so she can pay attention to what she was doing.

Again, I apologize to all the females here because I know that they would never do anything of the sort.

HA! He's lucky he got a #1 and #2 from you, EIght6.

I have a very special group of people for you all to discuss now: those passengers that JUMP out of their car to STAND in the parking space while their driver CIRCLES AROUND THE BLOCK [:(!] I just put it in park and give them the extended remix club version of my horn until they get the picture and walk away in shame and degradation [}:)]

In Brighton Beach, wives stand outside in spaces waiting for their husbands to come home and park there. I kid you not. You don't see it as much now because of the reaction they got from people looking to park.

What do you think about those special parking places for pregnant women? Personally, I never used them. My fat ass needed to hike across the parking lot.

At a Fresh and Easy I shop at, I noticed they have parking for shoppers with children. Again, I say march your buns (and your kids) across the parking lot. Gosh, we've turned into the laziest people ever.

Parking spots for old people--I'm all for that. I don't how "old" would be distinguished or defined, but it always makes me so sad to see some little old person hobbling across a parking lot.

The local IKEA actually has bright green spots for hybrid vehicle owners right next to the handicapped and expectant Mother's spots.

Beyond stupid.

Those folks piss me off, when I had my old Jetta commuter special I would park with my passenger side within inches of guys like that. My car was worthless so I wasn't worried about retaliation.

Life's what you make it.
